Introduction
ANALYZE, DECIDE, DIRECT
Upon completion of the curriculum, the new professional in Foreign Trade and International Economic Relations will have the following skills and abilities:
- Plan and execute international trade projects
- Determine the economic viability of international trade projects
- Examine the political feasibility of international trade projects
- Negotiate in national and international forums international trade projects
- Evaluate the political, social, and economic environment of commercial projects
- Design political-administrative strategies for the approval of international trade projects by
- of the organs or institutions of a government.
- Make proposals on how to manage foreign trade projects
- Propose and implement control mechanisms for foreign trade projects
- Arbitrate in national and international forums disputes around international trade projects.
- Design and execute marketing strategies applied to international trade.
- Take advantage of the behavior of International Economic Relations to make proposals for
- international trade to the public and private sectors.
- Make proposals for streamlining the government apparatus (ministries, autonomous institutions,
- customs, parliament, etc.) for the treatment and approval of foreign trade projects.
- Design agreements and proposals for commercial and economic integration between States.
- Propose rules and modifications in the field of international commercial legislation and community law.
