Overview
Bridging the digital revolution between China & Europe
For European companies moving into China
For Chinese companies moving into Europe
As Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba pointed out, “In other countries, e-commerce is just to go shopping, whereas in China it’s a lifestyle”.
Not a single European company wishing to succeed in China, whatever the product, service, or sector, can afford to ignore the digital revolution. The use of mobile and social networks by the population is 5 years ahead of European countries! Alibaba already has offices in France and there is no doubt that the Chinese giants have big plans to expand into Europe. The need for skills among European advertisers expanding into China and among Chinese advertisers launching onto the European market has only recently emerged and promises to see exponential growth offering exciting opportunities for our graduates.
This joint program was co-created by ESSCA School of Management and EFAP School of Communication in partnership with the Hub Institute, the leading international French think tank at the heart of the world’s digital transformation. Whatever your profile, our pioneering double degree program can help you acquire the knowledge and expertise to be the bridge for digital transformations between Europe and China.
Why ESSCA – MSc EU-Asia Digital Marketing and Business
"With nearly 1 billion Internet and mobile users, 50% annual growth, and a 50% penetration rate, China is the world’s largest market for e-business and digital transformation. BATX (Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent, Xiaomi) and many others, sometimes unknown to people in Europe and the Americas, are Chinese pure players that have no lessons to learn from the Western GAFAM (Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft). We are proud to offer our double degree in Digital Marketing & Business, with the Specialized MBA (by EFAP) and the Master of Science (by ESSCA), in an exclusive partnership with the Hub Institute to offer the market the first-ever academic course dealing with this exciting new challenge. Embrace this revolution as a fabulous career opportunity!", Maximilien Rech, Ph.D., MSc Director & Shanghai Programme Coordinator
