This program seeks to produce chemical engineers with a strong fundamental technical education, who master the theoretical course of chemical engineering and the experimental skills. The program is for students who seek a broad education in the application of chemical engineering to a variety of specific areas, including energy and the environment, materials and nanotechnology, polymers, surface science, catalysis and reaction engineering, systems and process design, and biotechnology. Chemical engineering students acquire the necessary background and skills to design chemical processes and know how to carry out the fundamental and applied investigation on the problems found in the chemical industry.
This program aims to develop the independent innovation activities, the skills of international academic communication, and the spirit of collective cooperation so that the students will become highly qualified professionals in the field of chemical engineering.

1. Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People's Republic of China, and be in good health;
2. The requirements for applicants' degree and age:
Be a high school degree holder over the age of 18 and under 35 when applying for the bachelor's programs;
Be a bachelor's degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for the master's programs;
Be a master's degree holder under the age of 45 when applying for the Ph.D. programs.
Degree & diploma
1. Students will be conferred a Master Degree and awarded a graduation certificate after they have fulfilled the credit point requirement, completed their graduation thesis and satisfied their degree requirements in the stipulated period of time.
2. Students who do not qualify to graduate will receive a completion certificate. Dropouts will receive learning certificate.

Tuition (per person per academic year): RMB30,000 Medical Insurance
Fee: 600RMB for each year each person
1. Complete the Application Form for Foreigners of Studying at TJU and Application Form for TJU International Students Scholarship(Chemical Engineering).
2. Mail the application forms and all other application materials(one original and one copy)to the International Admissions Office, Tianjin University by the 30th June.
3. Tianjin University reviews the application with the final list of successful candidates to be released by 15th July.
4. Letter of Admission and JW202 will be sent to the applicants.
5. Students register at Tianjin University in early September.

Bachelor of Chemical Engineering
The program is aimed to broaden and deepen students' knowledge and understanding of Chemical Engineering. The graduates would have a sound theoretical grasp of the science and principles, combined with practical experience and an awareness of their responsibilities for the society and the environment. The graduates would be qualified for professional chemical and process engineers in the industry or following a postgraduate route into a research, industrial or academic career.
Career prospects for Chemical Engineers are bright and promising in China. The breadth of knowledge and skills acquired during the degree program also provide the possibilities for chemical engineering graduates to seek various opportunities in other sectors, such as utilities, consulting, banking and finance, and as officers in government agencies.
The program has been accredited by IChemE at Master Level.

The intensive engineering practice is one feature of the chemical engineering programs. We have extensive and well-equipped laboratory facilities and these are used to effectively deliver a high-quality laboratory experience, including experience at pilot-plant level. Although the learning outcomes can be achieved in these short periods are limited, the visits do provide the students with a valuable awareness of the industrial practice and the students to get benefits from the visits. International Scholarship of Bachelor Program in Chemical Engineering
I. About ISBCE
ISBCE consists of 15 full scholarships and 10 partial scholarships to support the international students who study in School of Chemical Engineering and Technology.
The full scholarship (RMB48, 800 ) provides:
1. Tuition fees for four years for a bachelor’s degree (RMB20,000/year)
2.Part of living allowance for four years (RMB2,400/month)
3. The partial scholarship (RMB36, 800 ) provides:
4. Tuition fees for four years for a bachelor’s degree (RMB20,000/year)
5. Part of living allowance for four years (RMB1,400/month)
II. Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship will be available to those applicants who:
Must be Non-Chinese citizens in good health at the time of application;
Must be high school graduates with good academic standing, and be over the age of 18 and under 35.

Mail the application forms and all other application materials(one original and one copy ) to the International Admissions office, Tianjin University by May 30th 2018；
Tianjin University reviews the application with the final list of successful candidates to be released by the end of June 2018；
Letter of Admission and JW202 will be sent to the applicants；
Register at Tianjin University according to the date on the letter of admission.
