Introduction
Understanding Design as innovation, methodology, and technique resulting in artifacts, services, and processes for political, social, and economic development, the Graduate Program in Design is structured in an area of concentration which is Design and in two lines of research, these being:
Management - based on Strategic Design Management, applied to organizations with a technological and social base, including sectors with high technological development and also community sectors It considers the operational, tactical, and strategic aspects and their relationship with the performance of the productive processes in the companies.
Media - gathering research based on the media and their interrelationships, involving: interactivity, interaction, usability, information, and communication, within the actions of, communication, education, and entertainment.
In addition, it is proposed to link to the third line of convergence (emphasis) called Technology, which brings together Design research with an emphasis on the use of prototyping, simulation and experimentation technologies in methods, processes, and services.
