Departures
The goal of the course is to provide specific pedagogical training to teachers who work on these aspects in the educational system, to educators, leaders and managers of youth or sports associations, nature classrooms and other non-formal education institutions that organize regulated activities in natural environments, and who already have a general university degree, but who lack the epistemological and theoretical framework that can offer specific and comprehensive training brought together in the set of studies that make up this project.
In recent years, there has been an extraordinary expansion in Spain of all types of institutions that aim to carry out recreational or educational activities in nature. From school farms and nature classrooms to extreme sports clubs, trail layout, activities with disabled people, rural tourism, landscape protection, environmental management, etc., as well as the more classic ones that involve activities with schoolchildren, A set of human tasks opens up in this field that go beyond the classic activities of mountain clubs and scouting organizations that, until then, were the most enthusiastic activists visiting natural environments.
This official master's degree aims to meet the demand for a specific qualification for senior educational management in leisure and free time activities in natural environments.
This master's degree is aimed at all those educators, both in the field of formal education and non-formal education, who assume pedagogical management tasks in the organization of leisure and free time activities in nature, and who work outside the school and family environment. .
In this case, the master's degree is designed only to train a specific professional in the educational field, and to reinforce the training of early childhood and primary education teachers in activities that are carried out outside the classroom, tasks that in turn generate research work on their own. team of teachers that enriches the development of this training action.
