The Jefferson Master of Architecture Program is a first-professional graduate program designed to prepare students for professional architectural practice through the development of sustainable design and technology skills, knowledge of project management, and collaborative experiences in an interdisciplinary environment. The program is located within easy access to Center City Philadelphia with its rich collection of major historical and contemporary buildings. Philadelphia also provides an ongoing laboratory for many of our courses and opportunities for internships.

The Master of Architecture is a 3+ year 100-credit degree program for students without advanced standing. Students granted advanced standing may be able to complete the program in as little as two years with 49 credits minimum.... [-]

The Master of Landscape Architecture is a professional qualification, accredited by the Landscape Institute, which provides a route to an internationally recognised qualification in a fast-growing, global profession.

The MLA combines an emphasis on individual practice and an exploratory, experimental approach, with a strong professional underpinning. It is both a conversion course for graduates of related subject areas and a final postgraduate year of education for landscape graduates.

The subject is awarded by Manchester Metropolitan University where it has been taught for over 40 years and today forms part of the prestigious Manchester School of Architecture. The Graduate School of Planning grants the professional degree of Master's in Planning with areas of emphasis in the fields of Urban and Territorial Planning, Planning of Natural Resources and Environment, Planning of the Economic Systems, and Areas of Policies and Social Planning.

The syllabus for the Master's degree in Planning was reviewed and approved by the Academic Senate on April 17, 1997 and by the Board of Trustees through Certification No. 22 of August 28, 1998.

The focus of the curriculum is the comprehensive and integral development of society, in its main components: economic, social, urban-spatial and environmental. The only program in nation’s capital that is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation, the MFA in Interior Architecture gives students access to urban resources, the top architecture and interior design firms in DC, and a studio-oriented curriculum that creates innovative, design thinkers. Through the studio-based core curriculum of 60 required credits, students learn about habitable environments ranging from small interiors to larger, more complex commercial and institutional spaces. With projects focused on current design issues as well as lectures and critiques from distinguished professionals, the IAD program is a carefully sequenced series of courses building on theoretical, technical, and creative challenges and experiences. MBE Housing degree engages with housing issues from a multi-disciplinary, internationalist perspective. Its courses explore theoretical, conceptual, social, technical, managerial, legal, financial and planning aspects of housing both in policy and in practice. Through a substantial research component, students are given the opportunity to critically explore a particular aspect of their interest in housing.

The MBE Housing develops practical, managerial, analytical, and spatial skills as well as social and cultural sensitivities to meet housing challenges in the unevenly developing world.

Applications for 2017 are now closed The Master in Urban studies is a multi-disciplinary master degree, including courses in Planning, Political Studies, Sociology, and History. The degree is research-oriented and suited for students aiming at developing and consolidating their research skills, for careers involving research in academic, NGO, global institutions or government environments. Most lecturers involved have both a strong academic background and activist experience, and the degree focuses more specifically around issues of urban politics and governance, local democracy and justice, processes and politics of policy-making in Cities of the South.

The Master of Architecture is accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board as a first professional degree, a requirement of licensure for becoming a practicing architect in the United States, and a terminal degree for many design educators around the globe.
