Introduction
The specialization program covers a wide range of psychology and law courses. The issues discussed during classes will concern the application of psychological knowledge in court and penitentiary practice, witness testimony, giving opinions in criminal, civil and family cases, as well as investigative psychology and criminology. Students will be familiarized with the forms of psychological help for crime victims, especially with regard to victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence. Students of this specialization will also be able to learn about negotiation techniques in crisis situations and the tasks of a psychologist in uniformed services, prisons and rehabilitation centers. The specialization also enables the acquisition of basic skills necessary for diagnosis, as well as taking preventive or corrective actions towards people suffering from disorders of social functioning and socially maladjusted.
