Natural Resource Management
New Mexico Highlands’ master’s degree in Natural Resources Management combines elements from environmental science, water resources, geographic information systems, and physical geology to create a great program to launch your career. The Environmental Geology program is unique in the state of New Mexico. Our departmental expertise in environmental issues and water resource sciences is state-of-the-art.
Working with our dedicated faculty, students can develop individualized programs of study in the environmental sciences to develop their interests. Faculty have research interests in environmental science, geomorphology, water resources, aquatic ecology, paleoclimate, chemistry, soil resources, entomology, groundwater, and surface hydrology.
