You’ll apply developing technologies and practices, specific to your discipline, across projects that demonstrate your work to leading industry figures. In addition, you'll be encouraged to nurture relationships with fellow developers, industry professionals, and companies through your demonstrable skill in the creation of games, mentorships, and published research.

Abertay has a suite of postgraduate taught programmes which cover disciplines including business, computer games, computer security, engineering and counselling.

Postgraduate taught programmes are typically one year in length (full-time) and at least two years if studying part-time. You're expected to undertake more independent study than an undergraduate degree, but they still involve a mixture of lectures, seminars, coursework (exams, dissertations, research projects etc).

*There may be additional charges where the MSc is not completed within 18 months (FTE). Module fees are on a pro-rata basis of 120 credits.

Minimum fees recommended by UKRI are adopted as our UK-level tuition fee for postgraduate researchers in most doctoral programs. Fee information is expected to be confirmed in May 2024.
