Introduction
Presentation
The programme is organised in a common core in the 1st semester. In the 2nd semester the student can choose one of 5 options available:
- Specialization in Business Analytics
- Specialization in Service Management
- Specialization in Management Control
- Specialization in International Management
- Specialization in Human Resources Management
After starting the MSc programme, students will be asked to express their preference for the option they wish to take in the 2nd semester.
Structure
Timetable
The Masters in Management will work with a daytime group and a post-work regime one, in Portuguese and in English, according to the following table:

The classes are from Monday to Friday and Saturday morning.
The daytime regime will work preferably in the morning, and the post-work regime will work from 7 pm to 10:30 pm.

Additionally, classes may operate in English or Portuguese depending on the specialisation option chosen.
Attendance Regimes
The Masters at the Católica Porto Business School has a single but flexible attendance regime. The curriculum is designed so the programme has a minimum of three semesters (one year and a half). However, for students who wish to obtain a Masters's degree while maintaining their professional activity, you can perform the Masters's within a maximum of 5 semesters (two and a half years), which allows you to distribute the academic load over an extended thus conciliating the schedules and professional load with the Masters.
Venue
Lectures of the Masters of the Católica Porto Business School take place at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto.

Students of the MSc in Management have been achieving placement in major national and international organisations, but also in small companies, typical of the northern Portugal industry.
This broad placement can now be enhanced by the various specialisations offered in the MSc
- Specialisation in Business Analytics promotes career opportunities for emerging functions of 'business analyst' or 'data scientist', which have been the subject of growing demand.
- Specialisation in Service Management promotes career opportunities in classical organisations providing services and in industrial companies with relevant service components.
- Specialisation in Management Control promotes career opportunities in prominent positions in the planning process, monitoring and strategy implementation (for example, controller or financial management).
- Specialisation in International Management promotes career opportunities in multinational organisations or with a relevant presence in the area of trade and international projects.
- Specialisation in Human Resources Management promotes career opportunities in prominent positions in managing people and employees, training, and human resources development, among others.

Scholarships and Funding
Scholarships for International Students
Católica Porto Business School annually grants 10 scholarships to applicants coming from other countries, who have a non-Portuguese nationality and do not live in Portugal. The amount of the scholarship covers the tuition fees of the first year of the Master's Programme (curricular component), according to the fees established in the Table of Fees of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) in force, in each academic year.
