Introduction
The objective of the Online Master in Lean Manufacturing is to provide professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food and chemical industries with a deep, complete and up-to-date vision of the procedures for continuous process improvement that allow organizations in these sectors to achieve operational excellence.
The program has been designed to provide participants with solid knowledge of the basic general and transversal concepts that allow them to optimize competitiveness through continuous improvement processes (some required by law).
In the current environment, process industries are immersed in a continuous transformation process, accelerated by the globalized competition, by the demanding expectations of consumers and by the quality and safety standards of products required, as well as by environmental requirements, mandatory by current legislation and established voluntarily by the business strategy itself.
This environmental situation provides excellent professional opportunities for university graduates or people with proven experience, to meet the demand for experts in these fields. New professionals must provide specialized knowledge of processes and continuous improvement techniques under the Lean Manufacturing methodology, complemented by Six-Sigma, TPM and other tools. This program has been designed to master these processes and tools.
- Practical and applied ONLINE methodology: The development of knowledge through active methodologies applied to online training models allows students to combine their studies with the rest of their professional and personal life obligations.
- Personalized monitoring: In addition to the teaching staff, students will have a group of tutors at their disposal who will personally monitor their progress, to guide the student at each stage and resolve any difficulties they may face during the course.
- Connection with the reality of the sector: Both the role of the Program Manager of the course, who has designed and directs its delivery, and the teaching faculty are made up of active professionals, guaranteeing the connection with the working reality of all students and the direct application of the knowledge they acquire during the course to their workplace.
