Introduction
The master's university studies ensure the deepening of the general and specialized knowledge of the bachelor's field or in a close field, the acquisition of specific cognitive abilities and the development of the scientific research capacity. The organization and development of this master's degree program was generated by the need to train specialists in the field of criminal law and criminology, knowledgeable experts in the phenomenon of crime, in its various forms of manifestation, and related legal regulations, particularly dynamic.
The initiation, organization and development of the master's degree program in Criminal Sciences and Criminology was determined by the desire to deepen the new legal regulations operating in this field and was supported by the academic and research mission undertaken at the institution. This study program is addressed both to graduates with higher education in the legal field, and graduates with degrees in psychology, economics, sociology, etc.
