Introduction

Cities are concentrating populations and economic activities, increasingly and at an unprecedented pace. As a result, they tend to become the privileged levels of economic, social, environmental and political regulation of our time. This major trend calls for the training of future high-level professionals, equipped with a dual culture: real estate and urban on the one hand, public and private on the other, capable of understanding the complexity of the urban reality, by articulating and coordinating increasingly technical and fragmented skills and professions.

The Specialized Master ® Urban and Real Estate Management allows you to acquire a multidisciplinary culture applied to real estate and urban issues. He brings this dual skill: both technical and managerial on the one hand as well as academic and operational on the other.

The innovative educational approach, with an important place given to professionals (lecturers in classes or seminars) as well as the importance devoted to the Business Project for one of the program partners, ensures training in line with the requirements and developments in the world of work.

Finally, the modular structure of the MS MUI, built around three possible specializations (Certificates of Expertise): "Real Estate", "Integrated Urban Projects" or "Urban Planning and Strategy", will allow you to personalize your course and build your own professional project.

Resolutely professional, this Specialized Master will lead you to varied professional opportunities in the fields of real estate and urban development: investment and asset management, property management, project management assistance (AMO), real estate development, assembly operations, project management, project management, development, advice, etc.

Acquire a dual real estate and urban, public and private culture

The growing concentration of activities and people in cities makes them the privileged levels of economic, social, environmental and political regulation over the coming decades. This calls for fine-grained and complex responses, adapted to each local context, articulating scales and areas of expertise. It is from this multidisciplinary perspective, combining academic culture and professional immersion, that the program is built and constantly evolves.

The design and implementation of local development strategies and urban projects are increasingly complex and take place in rapidly changing contexts. They call for new knowledge and know-how, which must be identified and organized in an interdisciplinary manner.

Technical skills are evolving rapidly but the real challenge is that of management, both for companies and for public authorities faced with projects which mobilize more and more different actors and which call for complex arrangements.

The Specialized Master ® Urban and Real Estate Management revolves around the city, the matrix of change at the heart of human development, and its real estate dynamics. In addition to the two common core areas “Management” and “City and real estate”, three major areas of specialization are offered to choose from in the MS MUI course:

  • Real estate ;
  • Integrated urban projects;
  • Urban planning and strategy.
