The fashion and luxury industry has played an important role in society for centuries. Focusing on business management skills and consumer attitudes toward luxury products with an emphasis on design and creativity, this program prepares students for the projection of a brand. With elements such as advertisement strategy, communication skills and innovative, entrepreneurial thinking, students are given an in-depth insight into how to effectively manage and position a unique brand.

Curriculum
The Master in Fashion & Luxury Business (60 ECTS) is a one-year program, divided into three terms. Each term comprises two subject-specific courses plus a project-based module and a skills-development module. Throughout the year, students will also participate in real-life case studies and company visits, as well as the innovative Business Immersion Weeks which take place every term. In order to graduate, participants must also complete a Final Capstone Project (6 ECTS).

Brand Manager in the Luxury Sector
Brand managers in the luxury sector are key to maintaining and evolving a brand’s premium positioning and satisfying its exclusive target audience. These professionals will create and implement the brand’s strategy and develop actions to ensure its fulfilment. Their tasks include selecting high-end merchandise for promotions, market research, creating written and visual content in line with the brand’s heritage, advertising, developing offline activities to engage with the target audience and exclusive brand loyalty actions. They will work with designers to select star products to represent the latest collection, among others. Social media skills are key in this sector.

They will help strengthen a brand’s image through appealing copy and visuals and generate emotion through consumer engagement. To optimize campaigns, social media specialists will analyze results through analytics and recommend and implement improvements. A strong understanding of brand positioning and knowledge of design is needed for this job position
