Specialized Master BE + Positive energy building

The BE+ specialized master is accessible to students from civil engineering and energy engineering courses, holders of one of the following diplomas/levels:

• Engineering diploma approved by the Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur (Bac+5)
• University degree at Master M2 level (Bac+5)
• University degree at Master's level M1 and three years of professional experience
• Foreign diploma of equivalent level (Bac+5)

Required Language Level

The language level required in French is level B2 for non-French-speaking candidates.

The training includes course hours, project training hours, and 6 months of internship in the following areas:

• Thermal rehabilitation of the building

• Introduction to renewable energies
• Economic analysis
• Environmental assessment
• Geographic Information Systems

• Visits and conferences

Scientific and technical project

Renovation project for an existing building, owned by a local authority or an association. This project, tutored by teacher-researchers from IMT Mines Albi , places students, grouped in three or four, in a role of assistance to project management.

Professional thesis

To complete the schooling and validate the course, an internship in a company (or professional thesis) lasting 6 months is also to be carried out with the aim of putting into practice one's abilities to understand an industrial problem in its broadest sense, scientific, economic, organizational, relational, human,…

At the end of the MS “Positive energy building”, graduates take on positions with a high level of responsibility in R&D, study and design, project management and site monitoring missions:
