This program is taught in English aimed at holders of a degree in a scientific and/or technical area, that want to learn the necessary skills to broaden their future professional career in the field of business management and administration. Due to its clearly defined professional nature, the aim of the Master's Degree in Industrial Management is to offer additional education to recent University graduates with technical or scientific degrees. For their future professional careers, this Master's will enable them to access employment opportunities in business administration, management, preferably in industrial companies.
As the Master's Degree in Industrial Management broadens students' business knowledge, it is an opportunity to apply the technical and scientific skills acquired during undergraduate studies into practice in the business world.
In today's business world, companies need employees in the following three major areas:
- General area, for which general education is required. It includes managers who need to have a global vision of the company and its surroundings.

On 18 July 2011 IQS School of Management officially applied for affiliation to the AUDIT program, under the extension mode, adopting the SGIC (Internal Quality Control System) manual from IQS School of Engineering, which had been presented to the AQU (University Quality Agency) for approval in AUDIT 2009 and was accepted on 22 April 2010.
On 13 December 2012, IQS School of Engineering received approval from AQU, adopting the SGIC manual from IQS School of Engineering.
In November 2014, the Evaluation Committee of the Agency for the University System, AQU, made the visit to accredit the degrees of IQS School of Management for which the period had elapsed established in subsequent legislation to implementation, with a favorable outcome in the first instance, for all studies that were proving.

The Final Master's Degree Project
The objective of the Master's Final Project is to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the course to see that the program's competency objectives have been met through the development of a business plan, from the study of its profitability to its implementation.

Completion Requirements
Students must have earned all the credits undertaken in order to obtain a master's degree.
During the academic year, students will normally have two opportunities to pass exams: in January and in July – for the first semester subjects – and in June and in July – for the second semester subjects, or for subjects that last two consecutive semesters.
If a student does not pass an exam on the second attempt, two additional opportunities will be allowed. In the event that the student still has not obtained a pass in the subject, they can apply to the Permanent Committee of the Academic Board for a final opportunity to take the exam, justifying their position. The Permanent Committee of the Academic Board will examine the student's case and may complement this information by consulting the master's coordinator. If a student does not obtain a pass after having been granted an extra opportunity to take the exam, they will have to abandon the master's program.
Curriculum
The curriculum of the Master's Degree in Industrial Business Management is structured in five modules: Economics, Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Business Management, and General Education, as well as internships in companies and a master's thesis. Each module consists of several topics that may include one or more subjects.
The master's degree in Industrial Management consists of 60 ECTS credits:
- Two academic semesters of 30 ECTS credits
- During the second semester, teaching is associated with the master's thesis.

Master's Thesis
At the beginning of the program, students will be assigned a tutor to guide the students and supervise their master's thesis. The master's thesis is considered one of the essential elements to achieving the skills programmed in the master's degree. The goal of the research is for students to apply all knowledge acquired during the master's program to a business plan, studying start-up and profitability prospects.
Internships
Internships in companies are compulsory and are carried out in the second semester for a duration equivalent to 7,5 ECTS credits. IQS manages the internships and in most cases, these internships are paid. At the beginning of the master's degree, Professional Careers Services informs the students of the procedures to follow to carry out an internship.

Applicant Profile
The Master in Management of Industrial Companies IQS School of Management is aimed at graduates from the technical field, so that, for access, be required to be in possession of the title of graduate or graduate of the current university structure or licensed, engineer or technical engineer in the previous structure the European Higher Education Area. Admission to the Master is also provided for students in grades related EHEA or in each of the circumstances provided in the law for foreign students outside the EHEA.
Regarding the different possibilities of access, preferred options related to graduate degrees are those corresponding to the areas of knowledge:

With a strong professional orientation, the instruction is aimed at preparing students to carry out professional activities in the field of business administration, management, mainly in industrial companies, such as the food industry, car industry, electronics, telecommunication, capital goods manufacturers, wood, metal, textile or chemical industries.
