Introduction
The Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Planning aims to train administrators and educational planners in the planning, organization, direction, control, and evaluation of educational projects with an innovative vision, which by means of permanent improvement of the processes, allow raising the quality of these institutions.
The curricular design of the career forms the student as an administrator and educational planner, whose function is to distribute or redistribute resources based on the established purposes, and supervise that the plan is being fulfilled, to achieve the proposed objectives, in addition to defining in what they will spend the resources obtained through the school budget or the management of a subsidy for the establishment, or the administration of additional funds, in public schools, or the determination of the monthly payments to be charged in private schools and their use; or the operation of plans for teacher improvement, or the control of the student and staff absenteeism.
Correct decision-making, leadership, human resource management, teacher evaluation, organization, and management of external relationships required to face the dilemmas that affect various types of educational systems and the permanent changes that occur. In schools, this function is fulfilled by the directive staff: principal/principal, assistant principal, and especially the educational administrator.
The intermediate exit of the career is Higher Teaching.
The master's degree in Educational Administration and Planning is a professional trained as an administrator and educational planner based on the latest trends and global innovations, with capacities to plan, organize, direct and evaluate educational programs, plans, and projects with an avant-garde vision, which through the permanent improvement of the processes, allowing to raise the quality of these institutions and the service provided; at the same time that investigative competencies are reinforced as a way for the scientific improvement of the work carried out in education.
