Master in Oil and Gas Management

As the main sources of energy oil and gas play a crucial role in every economy and modern civilization in general. The fossil fuel scarcity makes one country dependent on the others, while those with large stocks of natural resources may suffer from negative effects of “Dutch decease”. All together with respect to world economy dynamics, political instability and population growth worry about the prospects of energy security. It means that management in the extracting industry faces new challenges going further than standard risks variations. Managers of oil and gas extracting companies have to take into account social, political, economic, environmental and legal aspects beyond decisions they make.

The aim of the MEP “Oil and Gas Management” is to train highly qualified analysts and decision-makers, who are ready to work effectively for the needs of future oil and gas industry both in regional and in a global context and who are able to meet challenges the industry face today and will face tomorrow. Along with the specific design, the MEP is tailored to meet all the requirements of the state educational standard in the field “Management”.
