Campus Features

Location

Studying at QUT offers you a world-class education in the heart of Brisbane, a welcoming, modern and multicultural city. Brisbane is Australia’s third largest city and known for its vibrant urban precincts, outdoor lifestyle, friendly locals and natural attractions. With more than 50,000 students, including international students from more than 119 countries, you will feel right at home.

QUT has two vibrant inner-city campuses: Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove. You’ll be close to all the action with cultural and commercial hubs within walking distance of each. You can travel between each campus with ease on our free shuttle bus that runs every 15 minutes. Both campuses offer performance and arts venues, fitness and medical facilities, shops, and food outlets. Our Gardens Point campus borders the Brisbane Botanic Gardens—which is where the name comes from.

Amazing facilities

You will have access to high-tech study and collaborative learning spaces including workshops and simulation centres. Our Education Precinct offers learning spaces, study pods and community areas interwoven with nature and technology. This space is home to the Sphere—a digital LED globe suspended over two floors with a changing menu of visual content. The Science and Engineering Centre is known for The Cube, one of the world’s largest and most advanced interactive learning and digital spaces.

Interested in real-time financial data? Our Economics and Finance Bloomberg Lab gives you just that, allowing you to conduct financial analysis with actual real-time data. As a health student, you can work with real patients under the supervision of experienced healthcare professionals at our on-campus health clinics and simulation spaces.
