  • Analyse and assess the effect of the green energy transition, digitalisation, and new enabling technologies on future smart energy solutions.
  • Plan, research and develop new intelligent solutions for resilient and smart energy systems by using different simulation tools.
  • Understand the role of new technologies and components (energy storages, advanced ICT solutions), concepts (microgrids, energy communities), energy networks integration (sector-coupling) and new market and business models on energy transition.
  • Lead and manage different new solutions development, planning, and research projects as well as use existing sources of information critically and produce new knowledge in the multidisciplinary field of future smart energy systems.

In addition, the degree prepares for research work and gives you eligibility for further studies in electrical engineering and electrical energy engineering.
