Introduction
Electrical Engineering is an international curriculum conveying in-depth knowledge of electric technologies, converters and electric drives, electric and electronic sensors, and measurements. The main elements of electric power systems analysis and management, including the topic of active distribution intelligent networks (smart grids), are provided too, along with cutting-edge content of economics and management of energy utilities.
Electrical Engineers are the repository of scientific and technical knowledge pertaining to the production, transmission, and use of electricity and of a multidisciplinary technical-scientific culture that makes them a particularly versatile professional figure. Employment opportunities are manifold, and the preparation acquired allows him/her to play key roles in the fields of industrial, technological, and environmental engineering.

International Talents @Unibo: scholarships for international students a.y. 2024/25
The University of Bologna awards 80 new scholarships to deserving international students who wish to enrol in first, single, second cycle (Bachelor’s or Master’s) degree programmes in the academic year 2024/25.
Scholarships have a value of € 4,500 gross and include a full tuition fee waiver. These grants are awarded for one academic year, based on SAT and GRE test scores and the verification of financial status.
