Introduction

Financial aid is available in the form of scholarships and assistantships and is awarded on a competitive basis.
Lindner's Master of Science in Business Analytics program provides you with expertise in descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. This program begins in August and classes are offered full- or part-time. Full-time students typically complete the program in nine months or one year. Classes are available in the late afternoon, evening, and Saturday for part-time students.

Full-time students can earn their degree in a year or less, allowing them to apply their skills in a real-world setting in just a couple of semesters. Another benefit of our MS program is the corporate and academic partnership with the Center for Business Analytics which provides real-world data analytics experience and career opportunities for students and promotes industry leadership and research to advance the field of business analytics.

The Lindner MS program in Business Analytics seeks full-time and part-time students with quantitative or technical backgrounds (mathematics, engineering, statistics, science, economics, etc.) who are interested in pursuing careers in the fields of business analytics and data science. Work experience is not required to enter the program which can be completed in less than a year.

Cincinnatus Scholarship Program
The cornerstone scholarship program for the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnatus provides more than $22 million in renewable scholarships to the brightest and most promising incoming first-year students in all academic disciplines.

Darwin T. Turner Scholarship Program
The Darwin T. Turner Scholarship Program was established in 1976 to honor an African American student who, at the age of 16, was the youngest person ever to graduate from the University of Cincinnati. The Office of Ethnic Programs & Services offers this scholarship program to promote academic excellence, foster diversity and provide leadership opportunities to incoming students.

Alumni Legacy and Network Scholarships
University of Cincinnati Alumni Scholarships is awarded to qualifying students who are lineal descendants (children or grandchildren) of the University of Cincinnati graduates who are Loyal Bearcat or William Howard Taft donors (former Sustaining and Life Members) as well as to students from participating UCAA regional alumni network areas. All scholarship awards are based on academic achievement, demonstrated service, and leadership.

National Outreach Award
Recognizing the academic merit of students coming to the University of Cincinnati from select, targeted geographic areas, we can provide scholarship money annually.

University of Cincinnati Global Scholarship (International students only)
The University of Cincinnati Global Scholarship is exclusively for international undergraduate applicants. Awards range from $1,000 to $15,000 each year and are renewable for up to four academic years.
All applicants are considered for this scholarship however award amounts for top applicants are based on differing priority deadlines.
Transfer Student Scholarships
The University of Cincinnati can offer former community college students several scholarships that are renewable for up to four academic semesters (two academic years).
To be considered for the scholarships, community college transfer students must submit their application for admission and transcript information by July 1.
Choose Ohio First
The State of Ohio has awarded specialized scholarships to innovative STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine) academic programs. Several proposals by the University of Cincinnati faculty have been selected to provide scholarship funding and programmatic benefits to recruit and retain Ohio STEMM students.
To be considered for these awards offered in engineering, sciences, allied health, mathematics with a focus on actuarial science, medical sciences, or nursing, incoming first-year students must submit a completed admission application and required accompanying materials by December 1 of their senior year. Limited awards will be determined by the colleges of these academic disciplines.
Curriculum
In the Master’s in Business Analytics program, students work on real-world projects and learn the skills necessary to succeed in data visualization, statistical modeling, data mining, optimization, and simulation to proficiently analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights. Classes include Statistical Computing, Data Mining, Data Management, and Probability Models.
As part of our continual focus on the real-world application of classroom learning, corporate partners visit the University of Cincinnati campus each week to lead seminars, recruit, and interview our Master of Science in Business Analytics students. As a result, our program regularly ranks among the top 1 Credits0 business analytics programs in the United States and many of our graduates are working as business analysts and data scientists at world-leading companies such as Google, Disney, Procter & Gamble, and Facebook.
