Department of International, Legal, Historical, and Political Studies
The University of Milan is a public teaching and research institution founded in 1924. Today a leading center in Italy and Europe for its scientific productivity, the University of Milan is the largest university in the region and gathers 10 among faculties and schools and a teaching staff of more than 2000 professors.
The Department of International, Legal, Historical, and Political Studies offers undergraduate and graduate students several courses in different subject fields such as International Relations, International Legal Studies, International History, and Area Studies. Conveniently located in Milano city center, just 10-minute walk from the Cathedral (Duomo di Milano), our Department is housed in Palazzo Resta-Pallavicino, a historical building located in via Conservatorio. The famous "Giuseppe Verdi" Music Conservatory and the Church “Santa Maria della Passione” (XV Century) are just moments away.
