EMJM-PROMISE programme is particularly suited for graduates in mineral processing, metallurgical and chemical engineering, chemists, raw materials scientists and engineers, mining engineers, materials scientists, or related engineering fields.
Admissions
Program Outcome
Students will gain broad competence in the main areas of mineral beneficiation emphasized in
- better mineral recovery from primary and secondary sources
- metal recycling (urban mining)
- by-product recovery meeting the demands of today’s industry and environmental protection as an integral part of the circular economy.
Students will move between the universities organizing PROMISE, at least three of these:
- University of Oulu, Finland
- Montanuniversität Leoben, Austria
- University of Zagreb, Croatia and
- Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria, Chile.
The language of instruction in PROMISE is English. Additionally, students can learn the partners’ national languages for getting a multidisciplinary education.
Students will be awarded multiple master’s degree diplomas and a Diploma Supplement.
