Introduction
Social Sustainability and Welfare Management
Social sustainability and welfare management graduate is able to interpret social phenomena in a critical and reflective way. He also acquired the expertise to experiment programs to protect the most vulnerable population groups through an intervention aimed at social innovation, enhancing the relationship with the users of services, as well as with the network of public and private institutions at the local level.
The graduate will be able to carry out his professional activity in the public sector (ministries, local health authorities, local authorities), in the Third Sector (social cooperatives, NGOs, mutual aid companies), and in private enterprises (residential structures for the elderly, rehabilitation centers for minors) and will also be able to carry out the freelance profession and offer advice to people, organizations, and institutions involved in the field of social inclusion policies.

Career Opportunities
The master’s degree course in Social Sustainability and Welfare Management meets the training needs of specialists in large areas of the social sector. Master’s degrees can carry out professional, design and coordination activities in:
- public sector: ministries (Health, Justice, Labour and Social Policies) and local authorities, such as Regions, Asl, Municipalities, Companies for Personal Services;
- third sector: NGOs, cooperatives, voluntary associations, mutual aid associations, insurance companies;
- Private sector: Rehabilitation centres for minors, residential facilities, family homes, homes and reception centres.
Program delivery
In addition to in-presence teaching, which continues to be the preferred method also in the next Academic Year, every single lesson will be simultaneously live-streamed and/or video recorded and uploaded on our digital platform for subsequent viewing. This mode is essential for students who are temporarily unable to be on premises.
