International Business is a two-year program that offers you a unique opportunity to study business in the international context, with a solid grounding in economics, law, finance, and management. You will get familiar with the contemporary issues in the global economy and the conditions of conducting international business operations. The language of instruction is English and additionally, during the entire duration of the program, students can study two selected foreign languages.

International Business studies offer the students a complete range of topics necessary for successful functioning in the modern business reality. Besides its focus on the economic theory, the program provides a practical insight into the functioning of companies operating on local, regional, international and global markets.

Studies launched in the 2014/2015 academic year in English in the field of Management with a specialization in International Management (currently: International Business; IB) are addressed to all those students who „reach higher” and are interested in acquiring business knowledge and skills together with raising language competences.

The studies enable to understand mechanisms of international relations and global economy functioning. Knowledge obtained during the studies serves as the basis for the analysis of state economic and political problems from an international perspective. The studies prepare for professional jobs as middle-ranked specialists and analysts in state and self-government administration units, international or national organizations and institutions cooperating with abroad, enterprises operating in international markets as well as for undertaking one’s own business activity.

Graduates of this specialization taught in English acquire knowledge and skills related to the operation of companies in the international dimension. This specialization prepares students for work in international corporations, companies cooperating and competing on international markets, or offices cooperating abroad. Specialized subjects in English facilitate the acquisition of professional vocabulary used by international corporations in their daily work.
