National Pedagogical University

The Faculty of Science and Technology is an academic unit attached to the Academic Vice-Rectory made up of the Departments of Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Technology and the CIDUP Computer Center.

The development of advanced academic and administrative management in the Faculty of Science and Technology has been made possible by the active and committed work of the department heads, professors, researchers, officials, contractors, and students of its different academic units, under the direction and accompaniment of the Faculty Council and the Dean.

The main purpose of the Faculty of Science and Technology is to contribute to the strengthening of the academic community in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and technology education, which generates knowledge through various actions aimed at addressing the problems and strengthening the supply and development of training, research and social projection programs adapted to cultural and social contexts, pedagogical identity, the construction of knowledge and the consolidation of a national and international character; in order to contribute to quality education in undergraduate, graduate and continuing education academic programs.
