The American Graduate School in Paris (AGS) offers US academic programs in France, giving students from all over the world the opportunity to get an American Education while living in France. All programs are taught in English; there is no need to speak French to join the school.
AGS specializes in International Relations and related fields. Programs available include Masters and Ph.D. degrees as well as part-time non-degree programs and study abroad for undergraduates. AGS prepares students for careers in various branches of international affairs: intergovernmental organizations, NGOs, government, international business, media, and academia, among others.
The programs are based on the American system of education while taking advantage of the cultural, academic and professional resources of France and Europe.
The AGS faculty, as well as the student body, are very international, creating a multi-cultural classroom atmosphere and providing multiple perspectives on the disciplines taught. This combines with the location of the school in one of the world capitals to provide students with a truly international experience.
Another characteristic of the American Graduate School in Paris is the individual attention provided to each student. Classe sizes are kept small for better student-professor interaction and interesting classroom debates. The AGS faculty and staff members know every student and are all dedicated to ensuring for each one a successful experience in Paris and in the program.
