Introduction

After seven years serving as advisers and trainers in 18 cities in 6 countries, it formally began operations on September 27, 2006, as a post-secondary, technical, and high-skills institution located in the loading area of ​​the Luís Muñoz Marín Airport, in Carolina, Puerto Rico. It arises in response to the need and commitment to providing the highly qualified human resource required by airports, airlines, cruise lines, and the tourism industry, in general, to carry out and provide airport and hotel ground services that complement the tourist activities that lead to carry out based on an educational service of excellence and total quality.

CATI's fundamental purpose is to serve municipalities and airport communities, as a non-university technical-professional postsecondary education institution, using only highly qualified and certified teachers to be able to teach according to the standards required by regulatory agencies. We provide the opportunity for young people and adults of both sexes to prepare with the knowledge and mastery of skills in all areas of Aviation Mechanics (Airframe & Powerplant, AVIONICS, NDT) and around the ground activities that take place before and during the departure of flights (Airport Services), using the personalized teaching and learning strategy with the immersion of the participant in a real work laboratory in OJT (on the job training) format. The graduate of the program will be prepared to choose responsibly and proficiently for the employment opportunities available in the airline industry. Consequently, any participant who successfully completes their studies will have the opportunity to interview and move towards a beneficial future.
