The Graduate School, founded in 1941 at the University of Miami, is among the most comprehensive in the country. The Graduate School is the central advocate for campus-wide graduate programs while providing strategic leadership for growth and quality. Furthermore, the Graduate School is a resource for graduate students, providing guidance for program offerings, admissions guidelines, dissertation editing and electronic submission, and career preparation.

In addition to academic programs, students can expect to have a rich experience in the city of Miami. Miami is a vibrant and exciting city – an international hub. This global environment amplifies the scholarly engagement in all of our programs. Our programs are immersed in an international community of industry and government leaders who interact regularly with our students and graduates.
